# Is 357 Divisible By Anything?

In this article we will find out if 357 is divisible by any other whole number.

What do we mean by divisible? When we talk about whether a number is divisible by another, all we really mean is if that number can be divided by another number and leave no remainder.

So, for example, if you divide one whole number (an integer) by another whole number, is the answer to that sum also a whole number? If it is, then it is divisible, but if it is not an integer and has decimal places, then it's not divisible.

So is 357 divisible by anything? The answer is always yes! Every whole number is divisible by both itself and the number 1 (apart from the number 1, which is just divisible by 1).
